SVdP Turkey Distro | Life Teen Practicum

For the past several years, STA Life Teen has been blessed to participate in this wonderful outreach. The Turkey Distribution has grown into a tremendous community event, with many generous volunteers coming together to help families during the Thanksgiving season. As we look at the needs of our community, our teen leaders have expressed a desire to reach out and serve in other areas where help is also needed. After prayerful consideration and discussion, we have decided that STA Life Teen will step away from participating as a group in this year's Turkey Distribution and instead focus our efforts on another community service opportunity. Our hope is to find a project where more of our teens can serve together, make a meaningful difference, and build friendships and camaraderie while putting their faith into action. What does this mean for those who have already signed up? If you registered to participate in the Turkey Distribution through Life Teen, please know that we are working on an alternative service opportunity for our teens and families. We will be sharing more information soon, including details about the new project, how to participate, and any changes to existing sign-ups. We are incredibly grateful for the example set by our parish's St. Vincent de Paul Society. Their dedication to serving the poor and those in need continues to inspire our teens to recognize the needs around them and respond with compassion and generosity. Thank you for your understanding, your willingness to serve, and your continued support of our Life Teen ministry. We are excited about the opportunity to make a difference together in another area of our community. Please continue to keep the St. Vincent de Paul Turkey Distribution, its volunteers, and the families they serve in your prayers.
