NW Students Wexford - Core Leadership

Introducing CORE Leadership We are excited to share an exciting new vision for our Middle School Bible Study this year! For many years, we have gathered our 6th–8th graders and our 9th–12th graders separately for Bible study, discipleship, and community. That separation remains intentional—we are not simply combining middle school and high school ministries. Instead, we are launching a purposeful leadership pathway that builds on the strong foundation we already have. CORE Leadership is our re-envisioned Middle School Bible Study (6th–8th grade). The name “CORE” reflects our desire to build a strong, Christ-centered core in our students while developing a pipeline of mature, servant-hearted leaders from within our own high school ministry. In this model, trusted high school students (9th–12th grade) will serve alongside our adult leaders and internship team to lead and disciple our middle schoolers. High schoolers will not replace adults—they will partner with them. This creates a multi-generational discipleship environment where older students pour into younger ones while continuing to grow themselves under adult oversight.
