Legends Prep & Sort Event at New Trier Food Pantry

Parishioners ages 65ish and older are invited to join together at our local New Trier Food Pantry to sort donations and prepare for guests who will do their shopping. The New Trier Food Pantry has seen a sharp increase in shoppers based on food insecurity in our area. (Feel free to bring some canned protein to add to their supplies.) After sorting for an hour, participants will enjoy lunch at Little Honeycomb and share conversation. This volunteer opportunity was organized by The Volunteer Center, a Benevolence Grant Recipients: Learn more from Executive Director, Bridget Lewis, who will be serving alongside us that day.
