About
In 1 Samuel 24, David is on the run from King Saul, who is relentlessly pursuing him. David flees to the wilderness of En Gedi—a surprising place of refuge. In the middle of a harsh, barren desert, En Gedi is known as an oasis, filled with flowing water, greenery, and life.
It’s a place of refreshment where you wouldn’t expect it.
That’s the picture we have for our Thursday night worship at 6pm.
In the middle of busy schedules, long weeks, and worn-out souls, we create space—just 30 minutes—to step into God’s presence. And like En Gedi, what we find there is refreshment. God meets us in that space and renews what feels dry and depleted.
A weary spirit walks in heavy and leaves lighter—not because anything around us has changed, but because we’ve spent time with Him.
All are welcome to join us. When you arrive, head into the sanctuary and take a seat wherever you’d like. There’s no pressure to sit or engage in a certain way—this time is simply between you and God.
Whether you sit quietly, stand and sing, lift your hands, or kneel, let this be a space to worship authentically and experience the refreshing presence of the Lord.
