Bluegrass Jam

Closet picker’s and singer’s alert! We are finally starting back up the Bluegrass Jam in September. We are meeting the third Sunday of every month from 3:00 - 6:00 at WCN, Room 511 by the South Entrance. The jam will be led by Bill Johnson ( 30+ years of teaching guitar, banjo, mandolin, bass and fiddle) and Fred Stewart (Banjo and Voice of Reason). For this slow jam all levels of instrumentalists and singers are welcome, but the emphasis is on those in the beginner to intermediate level. No jamming experience is necessary. We'll focus on easy two - three chord songs and harmony parts at slow to moderate tempos. Our goal is to learn how to improvise (jam) while playing with others , try out new instruments and vocal parts, along with having… just too much fun!
