Forgive: Why Should I and How Can I?
Commons, taught by Jason Burtt
Forgiveness is easy to preach and painfully hard to practice. What happens when the wound is deep, repentance is absent, or forgiving feels like letting someone off the hook? We’ll confront what biblical forgiveness really is—and what it isn’t—as we explore resentment, justice, reconciliation, and the costly grace of the cross. Based on Tim Keller’s book by the same title, come prepared to be challenged, because the person most changed by forgiveness might be you!

Paul’s Missionary Journeys
Room 206, taught by Deena McHenry
We know that the Apostle Paul traveled the Mediterranean world as God’s chosen “light for the Gentiles”. The book of Acts is not ultimately the story of Paul, but of the risen Christ reigning from heaven and building His Church. In this class, we will follow Paul's missionary journeys while integrating the letters he wrote to the churches he planted, revealing the theological riches that accompanied the spread of the gospel. By connecting history, geography, Acts, and Paul’s epistles, we will gain a clearer understanding of God's sovereign plan and a deeper appreciation of – and more importantly, a deeper desire for – Christ's kingdom advancing to the ends of the earth.

Contemplative Spiritual Practices
Room 210, taught by Dan Reed
God invites us to live in anticipation of a “Kingdom Come” that is beyond our human imagination. This is true not only for the broader world, but in our own hearts, and the relationships around us. In this class we will explore how creative spiritual practices from varying Christian traditions and eras can deepen our trust in the Lord and awaken our imagination for what God is doing in our lives.
