Exploring Contemplation

First and third Fridays of the month, 11:00am on Zoom Come explore contemplation with us this fall! This fall we are exploring the book Liturgies for Resisting Empire by Kat Armas. The subtitle reads: "Seeking community, belonging, and peace in a dehumanizing world." This is not a book study per se, and reading the book is not required. We will use a theme from the book each time we meet to enrich our practice of music, study, and meditation together. In the preface, Armas writes: "Whether you read alone or with a community, let these prayers and reflections guide you not toward easy answers but toward the sacred work of wrestling, confessing, and dreaming of something freer.
