SUMMARY:Prayers & Squares
LOCATION:Celebration Community Church\, 501 Celebration Place\, Celebration
  \, FL 34747
DESCRIPTION:A prayer is a powerful tool that God has provided for us. We ha
ve chosen to combine the gift of prayer with a quilt for someone in need.\
nA prayer quilt is a quilt that is made by a group of people who are inves
ted in the ministry. We make quilts for adults and children facing surgery
\, cancer patients going through treatments\, accidents\, and other needs.
\nA quilt is made and then ties put into the quilt for people to tie a kno
t and say a prayer for the recipient of the quilt. We will then have the q
uilt at church for people to stop\, tie a knot\, and say a prayer. Can you
touch a prayer? Can you pull it closed and feel its comfort? You can when
it is part of a prayer quilt.\nOur group meets every third Tuesday of the
month from 10AM to 1PM. You can find us upstairs in Rooms 203/205 at Cele
bration Community Church.\nYou do not need to know how to quilt to be a pa
rt of the group. We simply need people to cut fabric\, iron\, put ties int
o the quilt tops as well as sew. We also need volunteers to stand with the
quilt prior to each church service.\nPlease come and join us if you are i
nterested! If you have any questions\, please contact Joan Spence (TheCard
Girl@yahoo.com) or Carrie Kolczak (notlaweirrac@yahoo.com)\n\nIf there are
any requests for prayer quilts\, please click HERE.\n\nIf you would like
to participate in any other way\, please contact us.\n\nHosted by Celebrat
 ion Community Church\n\nMore: https://whatsupchurch.com/events/prayers-and
