 sts: Martyrs Eulampius & Eulampia\; Righteous Theophilus\; Pinytos\, Bisho
 p of Knossos\; 200 Monk-martyrs of Nicomedia\; Vassianos of Constantinople
 \; 14 Elders of Optina Monastery\; Paulinus\, Archbishop of York\n\nEpistl
 e Reading: I Corinthians 15:58\;16:1-3\nBrethren\, be steadfast\, immovabl
e\, always abounding in the work of the Lord\, knowing that in the Lord yo
ur labor is not in vain. Now concerning the contribution for the saints: a
s I directed the churches of Galatia\, so you also are to do. On the first
day of every week\, each of you is to put something aside and store it up
\, as he may prosper\, so that contributions need not be made when I come.
And when I arrive\, I will send those whom you accredit by letter to carr
y your gift to Jerusalem.\n\nGospel Reading: Luke 5:27-32\nAt that time\,
as Jesus passed by\, he saw a tax collector\, named Levi\, sitting at the
tax office\; and he said to him\, "Follow me." And he left everything\, an
d rose and followed him. And Levi made him a great feast in his house\; an
d there was a large company of tax collectors and others sitting at table
with them. And the Pharisees and their scribes murmured against his discip
les\, saying\, "Why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?"
And Jesus answered them\, "Those who are well have no need of a physician
\, but those who are sick\; I have not come to call the righteous\, but si
nners to repentance."\n\nHosted by Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church\n\nM
