SUMMARY:Ladies Bible Study | Joshua
LOCATION:Austin\, TX
DESCRIPTION:“None of the good promises the LORD had made to the house of
Israel failed. Everything was fulfilled.” Joshua 21:45\nThe book of Josh
ua chronicles God’s continuing faithfulness to fulfill His covenant prom
ises to Abraham. It is a book of transitions\, in which Joshua rises to le
adership and the people of God step across the Jordan into the long-awaite
d land of promise. The task of possessing the land will test the limits of
their strength and their courage\, but God’s covenant will not fail the
 m. And Joshua’s faithful example will whisper toward the perfect faithfu
lness of Christ Himself.\nIn this 10-session\, verse-by-verse study of the
book of Joshua\, Jen Wilkin helps us see how God’s commands\, though so
metimes difficult\, are always rooted in His steadfast love for His people
. Israel’s story is our story. We battle not against flesh and blood as
they did\, but we courageously war against the temptations of the world\,
the flesh\, and the devil\, trusting in the finished work of the true and
better Joshua\, Jesus Christ.\nBooks can be purchased through Amazon or Li
