LOCATION:NC\, Raleigh\, NC
DESCRIPTION:Come be part of something that matters!\nThis August\, we will
return to McCreary County\, Kentucky\, one of the poorest counties in the

hardship.\nThere are two ways to serve:\n1) The Lord’s Café Team- Serv
e alongside Crossroads Community Baptist Church at The Lord’s Café\, a
free restaurant that helps care for people in a community facing serious f
ood insecurity. This ministry is about more than a meal. It is about offer
ing dignity\, compassion\, prayer\, and the love of Christ.\n2) Constructi
on Team- Serve at The Light Community in Strunk\, Kentucky\, a transitiona
l housing community helping people rebuild their lives with safety\, purpo
se\, and hope in Christ. The work being done there is helping create a pla
ce where lives can begin again. No construction skills are required\, just
a willing heart and a readiness to serve.\nCost: $100\, plus travel meals
and two restaurant meals while onsite | Scholarships are available\nClick
