SUMMARY:Carpus\, Papylus\, Agathodorus\, & Agathonica
LOCATION:Raleigh\, NC
DESCRIPTION:Saints\, Feasts\, and Readings for 10/13/2026\n\nSaints and Fea
 sts: Carpus\, Papylus\, Agathodorus\, & Agathonica\; Benjamin the Deacon\;
Martyr Chryssi\; Meletios\, Patriarch of Alexandria\; Florentios of Thess
 aloniki\; Jacob Of Hamatoura\n\nEpistle Reading: Philippians 2:16-23\nBret
hren\, I do not run in vain or labor in vain. Even if I am to be poured as
a libation upon the sacrifical offering of your faith\, I am glad and rej
oice with you all. Likewise you also should be glad and rejoice with me. I
hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you soon\, so that I may be che
ered by news of you. I have no one like him\, who will be genuinely anxiou
s for your welfare. They all look after their own interests\, not those of
Jesus Christ. But Timothy's worth you know\, how as a son with a father h
e has served with me in the gospel. I hope therefore to send him just as s
oon as I see how it will go with me.\n\nGospel Reading: Luke 8:1-3\nAt tha
t time Jesus went on through cities and villages\, preaching and bringing
the good news of the kingdom of God. And the twelve were with him\, and al
so some women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities: Mary\,
called Magdalene\, from whom seven demons had gone out\, and Joanna\, the
 wife of Chuza\, Herod's steward\, and Susanna\, and many others\, who prov
ided for him out of their means.\n\nHosted by Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox
 Church\n\nMore: https://whatsupchurch.com/events/carpus-papylus-agathodoru
